Word Finder Tools

Unscramble letters, solve anagrams, and match word patterns — instant results, entirely in your browser.

Whether you're stuck on a Wordle, need to find words from a Scrabble rack, or want to check if a word has an anagram, these tools handle the lookup work so you can focus on the game. Each tool takes a different angle on the same core challenge: given some letters or a partial pattern, what valid English words fit?

All tools use a shared dictionary of tens of thousands of English words loaded once into your browser. Matching runs locally — your letters and guesses never leave your device. Results appear as you type.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Word Unscramble and Anagram Solver?+

Word Unscramble finds every valid word that can be formed using any subset of your letters — shorter words are included. Anagram Solver finds only words that use all of your letters exactly, with none left over. Use Word Unscramble when working from a letter rack; use Anagram Solver when you want exact rearrangements of a specific word.

What is Word Guesser useful for?+

Word Guesser matches words using a known-letter pattern. Use ? for a single unknown letter and * for one or more unknown letters. It is ideal for crossword clues (you know some letters from intersecting answers), Wordle (you know some letter positions), and any game where you have partial information about a word.

How large is the word list?+

The word list used by these tools contains tens of thousands of common English words drawn from a standard dictionary. Proper nouns, abbreviations, and very rare words are generally excluded. All matching happens in your browser — the list is downloaded once and cached.

Is my input sent to a server?+

No. The word list is loaded once as a static file and all matching runs locally in your browser. Your letters, guesses, and patterns are never transmitted anywhere.
